Just wanted to write a few notes about the ATX Game Makers Showcase which happened just a few days ago. I attended it as an exhibitor in 2024 (202403102110) and 2025 (20250309163842, 20250310163053). Both times, I showed no signal. It takes place during SXSW at Valhalla in Austin, Texas.
In 2024, it was called the “3rd Annual ATX Game Makers Showcase and Arcade” and was named “4th Annual ATX Game Makers Showcase” in 2025.
In 2024, the beginning of the Eventbrite event description read:
ATX Game Makers is an amazing community focused on creating video games and increasing the diversity in the games industry. This is our annual spring event where we show off and show out! During the event we will have speakers to educate our attendees and offer a space for local studios and indies to show off their games.
All of our events are free to the public and don’t require a conference badge. The event is also 18+ until 4:00 PM on both days… and yes we will have free food and drinks during our happy hour and business lunch!
