At Kin-Yoobi Con in Union City
- Plays: 15
- I arrived on time for exhibitor setup but they are running behind on setup, so I have to wait.
- The gaming consoles in the gaming area are being provided by Bay Area MADHouse, an fgc community that runs tournaments.
- Got a good spot for the table, right next to both gaming and AA/Dealer's room
- Player with carpal tunnel suggested using other analog stick for rotation
- i think i need to fill in the gaps between pieces to make the shapes of larger pieces more evident
- Player suggested showing the characters increasing their banter as you get closer to a solution, and/or interspersing dialog between the puzzles
- Locked items should show unlocked icon so players know what is locked
- Player suggested adding some ornament around the photos to reduce contrast between minimalist ui and photo
- Move solution border below the pieces to avoid cutting the piece border
- Player liked the first stub level because it felt like a good way to teach the different sizes. maybe i can add extra pieces to the beginning levels to help teach that and also prepare players for "extra"
- "standalone" could maybe go earlier?
- player suggested i make a transit-themed version of this game that is yuri and puzzle game
- quite a few people are telling me that they aren't usually into puzzle games but they like this one. this happened yesterday too at let's glow
- player suggested putting this game on mobile, said it could be a viral game like wordle or dont touch the grass. this same player also asked me if i would use AI to port my game to mobile (i politely said no and explained why).
