In a follow-up video, the narrator of the video claims that Toshitaka Suzuki discovered that animals can communicate to each other across species

He did this in Japan by using a speaker to play the words the Japanese Tit made for certain predators near other species.

This generated some interest worldwide in his research, and some Finnish researchers wanted to test his results. Toshitaka Suzuki sent them recordings of the Japanese Tit, and they found that these calls also worked when tested in Finland with the Finnish Tits, who had similar calls.

He then tried to mix up the calls of the Japanese Tit with the calls of other bird species, and found that they could understand, suggesting that birds can understand different dialects.
