Another thing that I forgot to mention in 20250831005552 is that I wish Factorio: Space Age had more ways for the spoilage mechanic to be used. Right now, when items spoil, you only get two negative outcomes: the spoilage item or a mob.

I wish there were some positive outcomes of spoilage too. For example, it could be cool if an item had to be stored in order to "ripen" into to a better result, requiring you to implement a storage and sorting solution. Maybe spoilage could also implement the percentage outcome in other production recipes, so that the same items don't always spoil into the same thing.
